Our goal with creating a modern Napa Valley wine named Kanamota, has been to blend the best Bordeaux red grape varietals growing in various locations throughout the valley where the grand “Human Mountain” is always within line of site to our ripening grapes. Stylistically, were are pursuing purity of fruit on the palate, and true elegance with very smooth tannin structure. At this time Kanamota therefore comprises beautiful younger vine plantings located on the valley floor from Calistoga all the way to Napa yielding finished wines that are both lovely and balanced when master blended together.
